Michael Maguire, a virtuoso in the legal realm, holds a law degree from Southwestern Law School, earned in 2008 through the accelerated SCALE J.D. program. His legal career is as illustrious as his time on Broadway, with a rich background that includes substantial pro bono work and a Tony Award-winning stage presence.
Before founding his own firm in 2013, Michael honed his skills at Kolodny and Anteau, a prestigious Beverly Hills family law firm known for handling high conflict/high asset family law matters. His unique background as a former international investment broker on Wall Street, coupled with his Tony award-winning Broadway career, has equipped him with the finesse to navigate both intricatecases with exceptional skill and sensitivity.
Mr. Breitman has exclusively practiced family law since passing the bar exam in 2012. He became a partner with the firm in 2023. During his years of practice, Mr. Breitman has represented high net worth individuals – and their spouses – in many different fields, including entertainment, sports, business, technology, doctors, attorneys, and beneficiaries of substantial family wealth. Mr. Breitman prides himself on obtaining efficient and effective results for his clients with his settlement-oriented approach that is buttressed by his litigation and courtroom acumen.
Mr. Breitman developed his passion for family law while in law school, during which time he was a law clerk for Wasser, Cooperman & Carter, P.C. (now Wasser, Cooperman & Mandles, P.C.), the president of the Family Law Society at his law school, and a judicial extern to the Honorable Mark A. Juhas, who has sat in a family law assignment on the Los Angeles Superior Court since 2002. In addition to receiving his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2012, Mr. Breitman obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California in San Diego in 2009.
